    Purchasing Specialist - Personal Care

    **Location** : Onsite in Los Angeles, CA

    **Pay** : $25-$30/hour

    **Type** : Direct Hire

    **Hours** : M-F 8-5

     

    Join a rapidly expanding organization in the innovative anti-aging skincare industry. Our flagship product line is experiencing significant market growth, and we're seeking a dedicated professional to support our regulatory compliance initiatives as we expand our over-the-counter product portfolio, including sun protection formulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Generate purchase orders for materials and services while tracking delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival and maintain accurate procurement documentation.

    + Collaborate with production teams to develop manufacturing schedules and coordinate material availability with operational requirements.

    + Manage inventory transactions, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data accuracy across systems.

    + Build strong vendor relationships through regular communication regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any necessary modifications.

    + Support sourcing initiatives for new suppliers and assist with obtaining competitive quotes for materials and services.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain (manufacturing preferred).

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications with ERP system experience preferred.

    + Strong analytical capabilities to determine optimal ordering quantities and timing for inventory management.

    + Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities.

    + Detail-oriented problem-solver with organizational skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely.
