Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee including building three state-of-the art battery manufacturing facilities between the two campuses at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky. These brand-new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford’s 100-years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On’s 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world’s best battery manufacturer.

The Technical Analyst at BlueOval SK will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

The Technical Analyst will be responsible to shape, develop political strategies, and advocate for legislative and regulatory policies that support BlueOval SK’s leadership role in current and emerging issues. In addition, the Technical Analyst will be responsible to oversee and leverage engagement with existing and new coalitions/forums to align BlueOval SK’s public policy positions and build support across all key stakeholders. The specialist of the BOSK CTO office is responsible for serving CTO and coordinating with 4 department, technology, quality, DT and security. The successful candidate will play a strategic role supporting smooth operation spanning all aspects of plant launches and ramp-up.

+ Manage Organizational roles and responsibilities and Headcount planning under the CTO Organization

+ Setup and evaluate KPIs under CTO Organization

+ Establish CAPEX/OPEX budget and performance management

+ Establishment and operation of CTO Management Process

+ Establish and manage major milestones linked to Mater Plan

+ Engineer recruitment and training Support for establishing a training plan

+ Create executive-level reporting documents

+ Claim/Chargeback lead and support with coordinating third party, providing feedback to team/counter parts

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor of Engineering / Science / Business / Finance

+ English/Korean Bilingual

+ Skilled in planning, prioritizing and organizing responsibilities

+ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work in teams as well as independently and to coordinate with cross-functional teams

+ Ability to build strong working relationships with co-workers

+ Sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

+ Proven ability to learn quickly and thrive in the midst of change

Preferred Requirements:

+ Experience working in technology planning division at manufacturing company

+ Experience with new manufacturing plant launches
