We are currently seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Payroll Department. Key experience of selected candidate will be SAP Success Factors Payroll module, EC and ECP as well as payroll system migration.

Compensation: 125k - $170k + annual bonus eligibility
Responsibilities
+ This position functions as the subject matter expert, accountable for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and timely, and that payroll reports, funds distribution and reconciliations are precise. The Payroll Manger will ensure that the company meets the terms and policies of all federal and state regulations as well as payroll tax laws.
+ Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the Payroll Department, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, policies and regulations; ensure the accurate payment of and reporting in compliance with provisions of tax laws, federal and state regulations and company policy.
+ Coordinate the production of all weekly, biweekly, monthly, special compensation payrolls and oversee issuance of special checks.
+ Oversee the payroll staff, including work allocation, training and problem solving; Evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions Responsible for training and procedures documentation
+ Manage the development, implementation and administration of department records systems and procedures including payroll funding, time and attendance system, earnings and deduction codes
+ Manage customer service by researching and responding to Payroll related inquiries.
+ Oversee payroll systems maintenance and integrity; analyze operations, procedures and policies to ensure accuracy and efficiency
+ Ensure department confidentiality of sensitive information
+ Ensures that the payroll department is SOX compliant
+ Assist with testing of system changes and upgrades.
+ Collaborate with other departments and business units related to projects such as mergers and acquisitions
+ Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll compliance and controls; Develop annual budget for payroll department as well as payroll related items including SUTA and FUTA taxes
Qualifications
+ Bachelor degree
+ Experience managing multi-state payroll
+ SAP SuccessFactors Payroll module experience.
+ SAP SuccessFactors reporting experience is a big plus….in both Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
+ Prior experience with payroll system migration is a big plus
+ Prior experience with working with an outsourced payroll organization, and limited in-house payroll team.
+ Must be proficient with California State regulations
+ Strong problem solving skills, proficient mathematical and reasoning skills
+ Able to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
+ Manage and organize conflicting priorities and propose solutions as appropriate
+ Strong written communication skills as well ability to present information verbally in small group situations
+ Excellent PC skills, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Applications with a focus on Excel; ADP
+ Quantitative financial and data analysis, structured thinking and problem solving abilities
+ Above average writing and business presentation skills; Able to express oneself clearly and convincingly in writing, one-on-one and in groups with all levels of management, employees and customers
+ Customer-centric approach with personal drive and energy to commit towards achieving company goals
+ Ability to listen and respond to information effectively and to give and receive feedback
+ Vantage and Oracle GL experience a plus
