Please Note this position supports our 2** **nd** **Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2** **nd** **Shift from 3:30PM to 2 AM - 4/10 work week - Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

We are seeking a Microwave Technician for our second shift manufacturing team. Key Roles and Responsibilities include:

+ Fabricating and/or modifying complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine

+ Must be able to perform substrate attach (duroid/ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering skills and eutectic die attach

+ Must be able to work with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules/housings)

+ Must be able to work with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ High School Diploma or GED and 1 years work experience or equivalent experience

+ Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time

+ Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

+ Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Active security clearance

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41024 - $65639

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
