    Your Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee the research, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components.

    + Develop and ensure the implementation of the product development strategy, which supports the overarching business strategies effectively.

    + Ensure availability of effective product development infrastructure (e.g. technologies, equipment, processes), and plan and manage respective investments.

    + Plan personnel resources and decide allocation to ensure availability of required technical competence for all product development projects.

    + Coordinate and integrate innovation process, product design, prototyping, simulation & testing, and related engineering activities in line with stakeholder requirements.

    + Prepare and cooperate on up-scaling processes in cooperation with other engineering disciplines, and eventually decide on the release of developed products, if required.

    Your Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field.

    + Minimum 8 years of practical experience in an engineering related field.

    + Technical and personnel leadership experience required.

    + Advanced knowledge of product design and testing.

    + Understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) drive concepts.

    + Experience in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).

    + Advanced knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry.

    + Excellent communication ability (written & verbal).
