Are you ready to make a difference at the intersection of healthcare, data, and policy? UPMC is seeking a dynamic and detail-driven **Pharmacy Sr. Analyst, 340B** to join our Corporate Finance team. In this pivotal role, you’ll become a trusted subject matter expert in one of the most complex and impactful programs in healthcare—the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
**Purpose of the Role** :
As a Sr. Analyst, you won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll drive strategic insights, ensure regulatory compliance, and help optimize a program that directly supports patient care across our vast health system. You’ll collaborate with pharmacy leaders, data scientists, and operational teams to uncover opportunities, solve challenges, and support audits that shape the future of our 340B operations.
What You’ll Do
+ Perform audits and analysis necessary to support the assigned portions of the 340B program.
+ Demonstrate ability to continuously develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities related to position including but not limited to certifications and online training.
+ Review and monitor 340B policy changes and participate in educational events related to 340B.
+ Support external audits from either HRSA, manufacturers, or independent consulting groups.
+ Utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities to partner with operational stakeholders in both Provider Administered & Community Pharmacy 340B programs to increase compliance or to support 340B Program strategic initiatives.
+ Utilize advanced knowledge of analysis tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office, hospital EHR systems, DBMS to ensure optimization of the 340B program.
+ Utilize highly developed analytical skills and an ability to comprehend and manipulate large data sets into meaningful analysis.
+ Mentor and aide in development of 340B Ops Analysts.
+ Coordinate with internal and external informatics resources to continuously develop and improve data resources and utilities relating to 340B program optimization.
+ Coordinate with internal 340B program resources to effectively communicate and coordinate long term solutions to identified challenges with a variety of external operational and executive stakeholders.
+ Provide 340B training and education to Covered Entities and key stakeholders.
+ Assist in the evaluation of 340B program metrics including but not limited to savings, WAC impact, pricing/inventory issues, revenue integrity, opportunity analysis, and potential material breach.
+ Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Bachelor's degree, Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), or equivalent work experience required.
+ 2 years experience with billing and/or pharmacy (hospital, retail, or specialty) operations required.
+ Proficient computer skills are required (Excel, Access and Word).
+ The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
+ Initiative to work productively with minimal supervision is imperative.
+ Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) and/or 340B University certificate preferred or completed within first month of hiring
