We are searching for the best talent for an Associate** **Director, Global Development Strategy & Operations** **to be based in Titusville, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ; Raritan, NJ, OR Spring House, PA.
Purpose:
The Associate Director, Global Development (GD) Strategy & Operations, is responsible for assisting with planning and coordinating GD business operations communications. They will liaise with communications stakeholders to ensure a coherent and aligned strategy across the organization. They will be accountable for equipping people managers and employees within GD with clear communications – written and in live forums – regarding topics that include business operations updates, goal-setting, process and procedures, and beyond. They will also provide additional support to the Director as needed.
This role will partner with appropriate stakeholders, including the GD Global Communications Leader, GD Strategy & Operations Leader, and Business Growth, Innovation & Advocacy Head, to help develop and align on a holistic internal and external communications strategy, approach and plan that supports the overall GD goals and objectives, embeds change, strengthens culture, and implements key ways of working. This role will partner with other stakeholders and functions as needed to help drive clarity and efficiencies across the communications continuum.
The Associate Director, GD Strategy & Operations, will be responsible for drafting high-quality, engaging content for various internal channels, including websites, newsletters, and other avenues as needed, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. They will also be accountable for managing distribution lists and maintaining standards for internal communication.
This role will also contribute to establishing metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication initiatives, and will be accountable for analyzing data and feedback to continuously improve communication strategies.
You will be responsible for** **:
+ Assist with developing and aligning the Global Development communications strategy with multiple stakeholders across GD, and overseeing the execution of GD business communications that support GD goals & objectives, manage change, and embed the target culture and ways of working.
+ Contribute to the development of clear, high-quality and engaging internal business communications across GD, utilizing multiple channels and modern approaches to enable employee engagement, comprehension and behavior change inclusive of meetings, town halls, newsletters, etc.
+ Help facilitate the delivery and tracking of GD business communications across all functions, aligning with the Head, GD Communications, on macro-level communications when appropriate. This includes newsletter development/management and global DL process and maintenance lists to facilitate the effective delivery of communications.
+ Support the development, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators and metrics to support the continuous improvement and effectiveness of GD communications.
+ Contribute to the development / implementation of key communications standards, processes and templates to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
+ Support GD culture efforts, including partnerships with the Office of Inclusion and R&D Culture Team. Help drive action planning and employee engagement.
+ Ensure the quality, tone and consistency of all communications through rigorous editing and proofreading.
+ Provide additional support to the Director, Strategy and Operations, as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Master’s degree preferred
Required:
+ 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in a role addressing relevant business strategy & operations, communications, and culture topics
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong editorial content development and editing skills
+ Strong leadership and team management abilities
+ Experience working in a global, matrixed team
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple priorities
+ Proficiency in digital communication tools, internal social communications platforms, and content management systems
+ Experience working in cross-functional teams – change management experience in driving complex significant transformation efforts
+ Up to 10% travel – domestic
Preferred:
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
The anticipated base pay range for this position in the US is $120,000 to $207,000.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

+ Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
+ Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
+ Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
+ Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
