Job Description

AECOM is seeking a junior transportation project manager to oversee and administer projects on behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The position will be based in DeLand, Florida. In this role, the successful candidate will participate in project scoping, oversee design and plans development of transportation projects, administer project schedules and coordinate with regional transportation partners. Good coordination and collaboration skills with be required in this position. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

+ Perform plan and scope reviews

+ Knowledge of design criteria

+ Review bid documents and specifications

+ Review project cost estimates (design/construction)

+ Review and identify fatal flaw in project schedules

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency or experience and/or education

+ EI or ability to obtain within 6 months

+ 2 years of Project Management Experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ Must be able to lead project meetings with Local Agencies

+ Ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders

+ Time Management

+ Knowledge of FDM, FDOT D5 Standard Plans and Florida Green Book

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $112,000.00.
