This Administrative Assistant position will report to the Assistant Director of Finance and Budgets in the College of Business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Work in Pro Connect purchasing software to assist in processing contracts, adding
vendors to the Rowan database and processing procurement requisitions.
+ Review of reimbursement paperwork for accuracy.
+ Provide review of travel expense reports submitted to the Dean’s office prior to review
by the Assistant Director.
+ Assist in tracking faculty expenditures that are funded by the Dean’s office.
+ Provide assistance to Dean’s office administrative staff as needed.
+ Perform other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
+ Superior attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associates degree.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
+ Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Rate: $22 per hour
Hours:
+ This temporary, part-time position is assigned no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week. Work hours cannot exceed 25 hours per week and 944 hours per fiscal year. The work is contracted annually to coincide with the fiscal year and is contingent upon budget appropriation.
Notes:
+ Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, and the university will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position.
