Description

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious driver to join our team. In this role, the driver will pick up materials and transport them directly to customer facilities. We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of safe, skillful driving. The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people.

Objectives of this role:Deliver materials to designated locations in a timely fashionComply with all traffic laws and company safety regulationsMaintain a clean and operational vehicleRepresent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the general publicGain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routesResponsibilitiesOperate company vehicles to make pickups and deliveriesHelp with loading and unloading vehiclesComplete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentationUse navigational technology to find and follow optimal routesAssist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessaryRefuel vehicles and ensure they’re always ready for useRequired skills and qualificationsValid and current CDL LicenseClean driving record Ability to drive for extended periodsStrong commitment to safetyExcellent navigational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsExperience driving in a professional capacityExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to perform basic vehicle maintenanceFamiliarity with New England routes
