Job Overview
As part of the Creative team (reporting to the Associate Creative Director), ideate, craft and compose creative content for advertising campaigns of all types -- social media, display, search, blogs, and website copy. Additionally create the brand voice for the company and produce content for 2060 Digital internal materials and website.
Job Responsibilities
Manages the creation of blog content for clients and the 2060 Digital brand. This includes managing writer contributions, writing content and publishing. Creates web content for digital marketing with a focus on SEO (websites, etc.). Manages 2060 Digital content to ensures pictures, copy, case studies and contacts on 2060 Digital website are up-to-date on a monthly basis. Acts as a resource for 2060 Digital markets and manages the execution of market requests for 2060 Digital branded materials (case studies, landing pages, marketing collateral). Produces copy and provides creative input for all 2060 Digital collateral. Writes ad copy for display advertising and pay-per-click search campaigns. Creates content for social media and email marketing solutions for clients. Proofs existing copy for spelling, grammar, accuracy and clarity and serves as a resource for other departments. Collaborates with designers, developers, project managers, digital strategist and others to develop engaging and compelling creative ideas, concepts and copy/content to achieve goals. Acts as a brand steward, ensuring all messaging and copy is within brand voice and editorial guidelines. Remains current with the latest digital trends and products. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong writing skills with an in-depth knowledge of the English language. Ability to write clear, precise marketing text. In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). Knowledge and understanding of technology, web, and latest digital marketing trends. Solid writing, editing, marketing, public relations and business development skills. Ability to function in a team environment. Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work in compliance with company policies and procedures. Ability to work established schedule and other hours as needed. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or a related field strongly preferred. One (1) year of professional writing experience preferred. Physical requirements Sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Must be able to see adequately to ensure visual quality. Dexterity to manipulate computer keys and other controls. Work under tight deadlines and in pressure situations. Requires the ability to think tactically and creatively as well as be able to articulate information in a clear, concise manner to others.
