**UW Medical Center-Montlake Heart Institute Clinic -** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Patient Services Specialist Lead** .
WORK SCHEDULE
+ Full time 100% FTE
+ Day shifts
+ Monday- Friday 800am-430pm **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** The Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake provides a full range of heart healthcare and prevention services.Our services include general cardiology, cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia management and electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart services, advanced heart failure management, heart transplant and ventricular assist devices (VADs), adult congenital heart disease management, cardiac psychiatry, cardiovascular genetics and other advanced services. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Lead Patient Services Specialists and other assigned staff, and perform the work of the other Patient Services Specialist levels
+ Direct, schedule and assist in the training of staff; provide feedback to supervisor on staff's performance
+ Monitors daily performance dashboard; call waiting, queues, abandon rate and ensures daily work complete and accurate
+ Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary
+ Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes
+ Assists in the preparation and maintenance of provider and clinic schedules
+ Perform the work of the Patient Services Specialist 1, 2, and 3 **QUALIFICATIONS**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent
+ Three years of Patient Support Service experience **OR**
