Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and related equipment as assigned. Assume day to day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner

**Pay** : $19.70 per hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

**Shift** : Friday-Saturday 2pm-10:30pm, Sunday-Monday 10pm-6:30am

Position Summary:

The Building Lead serves as the Supervisory Authority for the building assigned. They are responsible for the direct oversight of front-line employees, in close cooperation with Project Manager(s) or Area Manager, as well as support cleaning of designated facilities according to Company assignment. Essential Job Functions

• The Building Lead is responsible for an assigned area or a building.

• Responsible for the direct oversight of front-line employees.

• Responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met and that front-line employees are complying with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company and by our clients.

• Responsible for directing and cleaning designated areas within appropriate timeframes.

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skill.

• Manage employee lunches and breaks.

• Maintain communication with Managers to maintain optimum staffing levels, meet client expectations, and coordinate facility operations.

• In close coordination with Manager(s), effectively coach, counsel and discipline employees

• Set positive, professional example for workforce.

• Conduct safety and quality audits.

• Assign tasks to front line team members based on job requirements or special assignments.

• Inspect all completed work for conformance to ABM and customer standards.

• Train new workers and oversee on-going training of existing employees.

• Communicate and understand reports to client and manager.

• Support front line staff with janitorial needs, as needed.

• Cover Managerial duties if Manager is not on site.

Minimum Requirements

6-12 months leadership experience.

Training in the cleaning industry or building management field is preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate with team members verbally and in writing.

Ability to read, write, and understand English – Spanish/English bilingual preferred.

Ability to communicate with the client – both written and verbal.

Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and to accomplish objectives.

Ability to handle and resolve problems, independently.

May be required to work overnight shifts and weekends.

The Building Lead may be required to stand and walk for 90% or more of the work shift.

Building Lead must be able to communicate effectively. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and handbooks.

Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from managers and clients.

Required to talk, hear and use hands to handle or feel for 2/3 or more of the work shift.

Individual may be required to lift 25 pounds or more for up to 1/3 of the work shift. Work environment has a moderate to heavy noise level.

Ability to maintain awareness of physical proximity to potential hazards and avoid such hazards as they may arise.

Must have a flexible work schedule.

Availability to work all 3 shifts and weekends, as needed, per manager’s request.
