    The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older

    • No experience required and on the job training provided

    • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred (airport or commercial setting a plus).

    + Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Must have a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record for the past year, and at least 21 years of age.

    + Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors.

    + Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and polish various types of flooring (tile, carpet, concrete, etc.).

    + Perform routine and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas including terminals, hangars and restrooms.

    + Follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage to prevent accidents.

    + Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.

    + Replenish supplies and ensure storage areas are clean and organized.

    + Work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams.

    + Always adhere to airport security and safety protocols.
