    Division Administrator

    Job Summary

The Divisions of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) and Allergy & Clinical Immunology (ACI) are two of thirteen divisions within the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. The Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine includes over 80 instructional, clinical, and research track faculty, as well as clinical instructors and research fellows. PCCM supports a broad range of clinical activities, including high-acuity inpatient services across multiple units, advanced procedural programs, and outpatient care at several locations including the main campus, West Ann Arbor, Brighton, and Northville. The Division of Allergy & Clinical Immunology consists of 21 faculty members across clinical and research tracks, with expertise spanning adult and pediatric allergy, asthma, immunodeficiency, and related conditions. Together, the divisions support robust clinical operations, nationally recognized fellowship programs, and a growing research portfolio.

High-level responsibilities include providing leadership to ensure execution of strategic plans, developing and implementing business models for program growth, overseeing academic and clinical administrative operations (including space, finance, and staffing), and ensuring effective pre- and post-award research administration. The Division Administrator plays a critical role in partnering with Michigan Medicine hospital and ambulatory leadership, representing both divisions and the department in institutional initiatives, and driving operational excellence to support the faculty's missions in research, clinical care, and education.
