    Job Description

    Chase Memorial is looking for some caring Resident Assistants to join our team in preparation for our upcoming CNA Training course.

     

    Kickstart a new career in healthcare and get paid to take the CNA class! The tentative class will begin in the Fall.

    Position Details:

    Hired as casual/per diem employment status during the class.

     

    Once the CNA class is over, full time employment opportunities will be available, and the rate of pay goes up to the CNA rates.

    Position Summary

    The Resident Assistant maintains the unit's cleanliness and assists nursing staff in meeting resident needs with the explicit intent that these positions do not provide hands-on, direct care to the residents. They are responsible for the supportive work to provide an acceptable living environment for the residents.

     

    CNA Trainees will complete in class and clinical hours in accordance with NYS ProMetrics requirements in order to take the NYS authorized test to become a certified. Roughly a 4.5- week course.

     

    Essential Job Requirements

     

    Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred

     

    Qualifications: BLS and/or CPR certification preferred.

     

    Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language
