    Chenega Systems (CS) provides federal agencies empowered solutions in Cybersecurity and Data Visualization. Our Subject Matter Experts offer decades of experience working in the federal marketplace and the data visualization environment.

     

    The **Windows System Administrator** is responsible for managing and administering Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in on-premise and cloud environments.

    Responsibilities

    + Administering and maintaining Windows Operating Systems (e.g., Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022)

    + Installing new software releases, system upgrades, evaluating and installing patches, and resolving software-related problems

    + Developing, maintaining, scripting, automating, and coding in a secure manner

    + Maintaining and administering Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent

    + 4+ years of demonstrated experience managing and administering Windows Servers.

    + Windows administrator certification (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator, etc.)

    + Ability to pass a T2 Security Investigation

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Proficiency in developing, maintaining, scripting, automating, and coding in a secure manner

    + Experience in performing job functions for both on-premise systems and cloud-hosted (e.g., MS Azure or Amazon Web Services) environments

    + Experience performing system backups and recovery

    + Demonstrate experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills

    + Experience maintaining data files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity
