    Description

    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Marine Electricians** for projects located in and around **Alameda, CA** . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of **up to $36/hour** based on experience plus **$180/Per Diem** to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.     Job Scope:

    + Troubleshooting electrical equipment and circuits using proper test instruments

    + Maintenance and repair of generators, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and distribution panels

    + Performing insulation resistance measurements to assess cable conditions

    + Supervising and assisting in the installation or modification of shipboard electrical systems

    + Managing spare parts inventory and submitting requisitions as needed

    + Documenting system maintenance history, including details of repairs and alterations

    Requirements:

    + Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Marine or Industrial Electrician

    + Experience working with high voltage systems

    + Proficient in 480V and 208V AC 3-phase systems

    + Skilled in the use of electrical test equipment (e.g., Megger, VOM, amp meters)

    + Experience in operational testing of electrical equipment

    + Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals

    + Ability to create hand-drawn diagrams of disconnected or removed equipment
