Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a part-time position in our Urgent Care Clinic for a Nurse Practitioner.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Responsibilities:

+ The advanced nurse practitioner provides primary health care in the family practice realm by developing the role as the care provider and coordinator, educator, and consultant. The nurse practitioner functions to provide continuity of care, coordinates referrals, and ensures comprehensive health care of patients according to their needs through prevention, treatment, symptom management and education.

+ (2) Urgent Care shifts per week (9-12 hour shifts) with every 6th - 8th Saturday Urgent Care rotation. Options to pick up and additional 12 hour shift periodically.

+ Urgent Care hours of operation each week are: Monday thru Friday 7a-7p, Saturday's 8a - 12p and Sunday's 1p-5p.

License Requirements:

+ Graduate of NLN accredited school or registered nursing.

+ Master’s Degree in Nursing required.

+ Must be licensed in the state of Iowa with a minimum of one year of experience.

+ ACLS/BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee.

+ Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
