    Responsibilities

    As a Certified Public Safety Officer, you’ll:

    + Respond to emergency and routine calls, including internal 911s.

    + Monitor security systems and conduct investigations.

    + Assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care.

    + Contribute to a safe, healing environment through holistic, age-appropriate service.

    Qualifications

    + Education: High school diploma or equivalent

    + Language: Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and speak fluent English

    + Experience:

    + Computer knowledge and typing skills required

    + No felony convictions

    + Licenses/Certifications:

    + Valid driver’s license (for work-related driving)

    + CPR, AED, MOAB, ASP/Handcuffs, and Pepper Spray/OC certifications (to be completed within first 6 months)

    + IAHSS Basic Officer Training Course (to be completed within first 90 days)
