RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Focuses on planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, analyzing, and providing ongoing optimization and support for telemedicine / telehealth related applications.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Essential: standing, stooping/bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting body, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking.

• Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions.

• Frequent: sitting, walking, crawling, and reaching above shoulder level.

• Occasional: climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, gripping of an object.

• Operates computer, telephone, fax, printer and other business office equipment.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) healthcare, business, finance, or related field; or four (4) years experience in healthcare or virtual communications may be substituted for the educational requirement.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• In addition to the educational requirement, minimum four (4) years of experience in Epic Systems (EpicCare Ambulatory, MyChart, Inpatient Clinical Documentation, or similar modules), systems analysis, IT project management, and/or applications support; or three (3) years of experience in Epic Systems, IT project management, applications support and/or systems analysis with a Master’s degree.

• Experience in implementing and/or supporting software solutions in a healthcare organization (i.e., hospital, physician office, health insurance payer).

• Experience to demonstrate:

o Organizational and leadership skills.

o Business metrics and reporting.

o Compiling and analyzing data.

• Experience with Telehealth preferred.
