The Respiratory Therapy Assistant (RTA) is a respiratory student who is currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program or is a recent graduate working towards licensure. The RTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT). RTAs are responsible for providing basic respiratory care to adult, non-intensive patients.
*If at any point the RTA withdraws from or is not in good standing in the Respiratory Therapy Program, their employment will be terminated.

Education:
+ Enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or recent graduate working toward licensure.
License/Certifications:
+ Upon successful completion of Respiratory Therapy program, must obtain licensure within 3 months.
+ Should license not be obtained, the RTA may be terminated from the RTA position
+ Upon completion of licensure, the RTA will be eligible for reemployment as a Respiratory therapist

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Basic computer skills
