Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. Our team is looking for a Production Control Planer III to join them. You will report to the Planning Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.

To be considered for the Production Control Planer III opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

+ HS diploma required; Bachelors degree in relevant discipline preferred

+ APICS certification or equivalent experience

+ 5+ years of experience in production planning or related functions such as program management or supply chain operations, with a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, shop floor execution, and end-to-end production processes

As a Production Control Planer III, you will:

+ Plan, coordinate and track production material requirements for aircraft products

+ Utilize MRP system to plan, create and release work orders to the shop floor to meet shipping dates according to customer orders and other dependent demands

+ Create and release work orders to the shop floor, in a timely manner

+ Create and maintain process flow charts for key, critical, or new products where applicable

+ Schedule, prioritize, and monitor production processes and material availability, while working closely with various departments to meet delivery dates

+ Review forecast orders and adjust build schedule/ work orders accordingly

+ Understand multi-level bills of materials, MRP demand and supply, lead-time, safety stock, min and max quantities

Salary Range:

+ $85,000- $100,000/year, based on experience
