Position Summary: Leaf Home is seeking a results-oriented Manager of Paid Search to lead our search marketing initiatives and drive revenue growth for our Digital Acquisition program. As the Manager of Search Marketing, you will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and optimizing our search marketing campaigns across various platforms. With a focus on innovation and performance, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance conversion rates, streamline processes, and deliver actionable insights through post-campaign analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of search marketing, strong mindset of test and learn, and a proven track record of driving results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive search marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
+ Dive deep into performance metrics, scrutinizing data for quality and efficiency improvement, and leveraging your knowledge of our product set to enhance conversion efficiency and ROI.
+ Implement best practices for campaign setup, tracking, and optimization.
+ Forecast campaign performance and set achievable targets for key performance indicators.
+ Employ testing and performance analysis to refine and elevate search campaigns, proactively adjusting for optimal outcomes.
+ Work closely with the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) team to enhance user experience and drive higher conversion rates.
+ Identify opportunities for landing page optimization and collaborate on A/B testing initiatives.
+ Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven analysis to improve performance.
+ Present campaign performance and strategy updates in weekly digital meetings.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, social and programmatic, to align search marketing efforts with overall marketing strategies.
+ Stay current with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
+ Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous learning.
+ Probe platforms to gain comprehensive understanding of products, tools, and recommendations.
+ Act as a point of contact to affiliate partners to vigilantly monitor affiliate compliance and testing.
+ Collaborate with internal analytics teams to develop customized dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear visibility into performance, enabling real-time monitoring.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in search marketing, with a demonstrated progression in responsibilities and results.
+ Proven experience in managing and optimizing search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search engines.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
+ In-depth knowledge of conversion rate optimization strategies and A/B testing methodologies.
+ Proficiency in using web analytics and marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.
+ A focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
+ Certifications in Google Ads and other relevant platforms are highly desirable.
+ Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to error-free data management, problem-solving, and goal achievement.
+ Exceptional communication skills, adept at articulating performance insights, and fostering collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams.
+ Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
+ Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
+ Detail-oriented and can focus on task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
+ Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
+ Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
+ Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
+ Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar.
+ Google Certified.
Travel Requirements:
+ Less than 10% domestic travel required.
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
+ Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).
Physical Requirements:
+ Normal office environment.
+ Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
+ Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
