Job Description
Teledyne Controls LLC is seeking an AP Accountant to join our Aerospace Division. In this role, the Accountant will prepare and maintain accuracy accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to procedural standards. The successful candidate will provide management with accurate information in the areas of cost, budgets, payroll and forecasting in an efficient manner.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Manages voucher and invoice processing and compiles the weekly cash disbursement scheduleProcesses travel expense reports and makes the reimbursements to the employees
+ Performs analysis related to financial reporting and assists Controller and Senior Accounting Manager in reporting weekly/monthly financial results
+ Responds to inquiries made by internal and external customers
+ Documents results and track progress
+ Follow-up routinely to resolution
+ Analyzes and Reports A/P related data semi-monthly.
+ Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
+ Participates in month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing
+ Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
+ Prepares Monthly Account Reconciliation
+ Serves as back-up for other accounting duties.
+ Supports the preparation of year-end audit files and analysis.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree (B.S) four-year college or university in a related field.
+ 2+ years of directly related experience and/or training.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Basic knowledge of MAPICS (ERP), INFOR, and Spreadsheet Server preferred
+ Prior experience with ERP systems strongly preferred
+ Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
+ Ability to analyze financial data and generate financial reports and statements
+ Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a US Person (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).
Salary Range:
$61,600.00-$82,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
