Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist II - OR, will be required to cover all surgical procedures in surgery and occasionally in the Special Procedures area. Primary job duties involve the daily use of C-Arm’s and associated equipment. An excellent working knowledge of this type of equipment is critical to this job role. Call rotation for after-hours coverage is required.
Schedule: Temporary Contract, call rotation is required
Rate of Pay: $50 / hr
Qualifications
+ 2-4 years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
+ 3-5 years clinical experience in Invasive Lab setting preferred
+ Experience using C-Arm, highly preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
+ ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
+ Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
+ BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire required
+ ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiology equipment.
+ Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and positioning.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Understanding of radiation safety and infection control protocols.
+ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate imaging and documentation.
