    _Location:_ Plymouth, MA

     

    _Shift:_ 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

     

    _Pay Rate:_ $18+/hour (higher depending on experience)

     

    _This is a Full Time Position_

    Our client is an employee-owned company specializing in the manufacture of precision-engineered components for the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. We’re currently seeking a **detail-oriented and hands-on Etching Technician** to join our production team.

     

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, values accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate chemical etching tanks and equipment to process metal parts to precise specifications

    + Follow job travelers and written work instructions for each production order

    + Use calipers, rulers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and ensure quality standards

    + Accurately record production data and measurements

    + Report any material or quality concerns to the production lead

    + Monitor chemical bath conditions and assist with routine maintenance

    + Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols

    + Work independently to complete daily tasks and meet production schedules

    + Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly output goals

    Qualifications

    + Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical processing preferred, but not required

    + Ability to read and follow basic instructions and use standard measuring tools

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

    + Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing required PPE

    + Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently

    + Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach
