**Position:** Temporary Material Handler (Forklift)

**Industry:** Manufacturing / Adhesives

**Location:** Walker, MI

**Pay Rate:** $24.00

**Shift:** 2nd 2:00pm -10:00pm Temporary Assignment

**Job Type:** Full-Time

Job Summary

Our client is a leading adhesives provider focusing on perfecting adhesives and sealants across all industries throughout the world.

Role Description:

+ Prepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and transporting the correct quantities to the production area, reporting any deviations, and documenting processes.

+ Operate processing equipment following detailed instructions and procedures.

+ Monitor equipment to ensure smooth operations and maintain desired production rates.

+ Perform initial product testing to ensure specifications are met.

+ Check labels and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

+ Package final products in line with high-quality expectations.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

+ Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality standards.

+ Complete additional duties as requested by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Required Skills:

+ Packout and general operation support experience.

+ Spirometry testing and forklift experience.

+ Periodically wear a respirator.

+ Ability to read and comprehend work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.

+ Experience in an industrial environment (chemical background preferred) with exposure to mixing or batching processes.

+ HSD/GED
