    Your New Role...

WB Games Boston is seeking a Senior UI Artist with a strong eye for visual design and deep experience building vibrant, animated interfaces in Unity. In this individual contributor position, you demonstrate proven experience in color theory, typography, responsive layout, motion design and asset optimization. Your role will be to deliver designs to the team through collaboration and communication with other UI artists, UX designers, engineers, producers and other key stakeholders. Your Role Accountabilities...

+ Rapidly design and create high-fidelity mock ups and animation prototypes that are visually appealing and responsive on multiple platforms.

+ Bring your designs to life in Unity through effective use of transitions, player feedback and eyecatching motion design.

+ Partner with UI/UX Leads to both adhere to and expand upon existing art style guides for a consistent user experience.

+ Think critically, demonstrate empathy, and create recommendations for player interactions and desired behaviors within our game systems.

+ Drive collaboration with engineers, PMs, artists, and game designers to initiate and document ideation of feature needs.

+ Seek reviews from stakeholders and peers to rapidly iterate upon UI designs, making decisions informed by feedback and user data.

+ Advocate for usability and best practices in graphic design.

+ Participate in playtests and reviews, using both player feedback and data to refine experiences.

    Qualifications & Experience...

+ An outstanding portfolio demonstrating mastery of usability principles, graphic design, responsiveness and motion graphics.

+ Experience creating user interfaces, responsive animations and optimized graphics using Unity.

+ An understanding of what best of class looks like and the knowhow to reach and exceed those standards.

    How We Get Things Done…

This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/ along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day. We hope they resonate with you and look forward to discussing them during your interview.
