Description
We believe that inclusion helps us thrive and grow at United across our collaborative Finance teams consisting of Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Global Procurement, Controllership, Investor Relations and more. These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.
Job overview and responsibilities
Support for key activities related to United’s financial systems and processes. This includes:
+ Participating in enhancement and upgrade projects including requirement gathering, coordination, testing, communication, change management, and training
+ Ensuring proper master data management
+ Developing and enforcing user provisioning standards
+ Managing the day-to-day support/help desk function
+ Supporting internal and external audit teams to ensure SOX compliance
+ Act as a liaison between Technology and the finance and accounting groups to refine system configurations as required
+ Manage the day-to-day support/help desk function
+ Troubleshoot financial systems issues; identify root causes and implement solutions
+ Take part in testing and configuration related to finance system upgrades and enhancements
+ Conduct training for new implementations and ad-hoc guidance
+ Support transformation initiatives
+ Collaborate with leadership to help define accounting transformation initiatives
+ Partner with stakeholders (e.g., DT, Finance, others) to ensure integration of Financial Systems initiatives with the broader organizational goals
+ Track efforts against transformation initiative milestones, maintain timelines, and report on progress to senior management
+ Serve as a change agent and help foster an environment that embraces transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
+ 3+ years of professional experience with large scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) administration (Oracle/SAP/Workday)
+ Skills with data cleansing and report writing tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableu, Spotfire, Alteryx, or Power BI
+ Ability to write procedures & training materials
+ Ability to plan, implement, and train users
+ Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
+ Master's degree
+ Masters of Business Administration
+ Certified Public Accountant
+ Experience with Oracle EPM Planning and Account Reconciliation Module
+ Experience with Oracle R12 ERP modules, particularly GL, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and System/Security Admin
The base pay range for this role is $79,800.00 to $103,966.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
