    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Intake Specialist** to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Morton Plant !

    Intake Specialist Position Details:

    + **Facility:** Morton Plant

    + **Location:** Clearwater, FL

    + **Status:** Full time, Hourly

    + **Shift Hours:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

    + **Weekend Work:** Every Other

    + **On Call:** No

    Intake Specialist Responsibilities:

    + Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations for all persons of all ages in the Hospital's Emergency Center.

    + Handle all requests for all psychiatric services from other agencies, individuals or other departments.

    + Maintain statistics related to Intake Services.

    + Provide clinical reviews for managed care organizations when not involved with E.C. responsibilities.

    + Provide basic psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients on Inpatient psychiatric units.

    Required Certification/Licensures:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    Required Education:

    + High School or Equivalent

    + Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field; Preferred - Bachelors - Psychology

    Required Experience:

    + 1 year – Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field in lieu of experience
