    Citi Treasury manages the balance sheet, capital, and liquidity of Citigroup; manages and provides corporate oversight of liquidity, interest rate, and currency translation risks; and supports businesses with risk identification/management, product innovation and funding strategy. Wealth Business Treasury is a global team that partners with Wealth business seniors, LFO teams, 2LoD and broader finance teams on topics related to FTP, Liquidity management, IRR and overall B/S return optimization. With the recent re-organization, Wealth business constitutes of Citigold, Citi Private Bank (CPB) and Wealth at Work (WaW) business segments. Overall the team has a geographical footprint in NY, London, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

     

    This is a senior analyst role in the Wealth Business Treasury Team with primary responsibility of managing the interest rate risk of the US mortgage franchise. The role requires leading and supporting business treasurer in decision making efforts, designing solutions and partnering with business / 2LoD / CTI /LFOs on topics related to prepayment modelling, delta hedging and limit / trigger reviews among others. This requires strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills. The C12 resource also needs to advocate Treasury perspective on IRR and liquidity management goals and importantly align them to the business strategy. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and influencing skills are required. Regularly assumes informal leadership role within teams.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage the interest rate risk in the banking book arising from the mortgage franchise in accordance with the policies and procedures

    + Contributes to the liquidity, balance sheet and interest rate risk management of consolidated Citigroup, CBNA and non-bank entities.

    + Leads efforts related to improvement in mortgage risk management, including appropriate funds transfer pricing, limit calibration etc, where appropriate

    + Supports the Business Treasurer on broader efforts to bring the business perspective to inform Treasury methodologies and balance sheet strategy

    + Supports the Business Treasurer in providing the Treasury perspective to inform the business strategy

    + Gains exposure to and learn about Citi’s balance sheet, liquidity management, interest rate risk and investment activities as well as business products.

    + Contributes to enhancing processes to manage these exposures in a well governed environment

    + Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field preferred,

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance

    + Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture

    + Excellent communication skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management

    + Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills

    + Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to interact with all levels of management Must be a team player

    Education:

    + Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

    Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

    $90,080.00 - $135,120.00
