Your role and responsibilities

At HashiCorp, we’re looking for a dynamic Revenue Enablement - Instructional Design Lead to craft innovative, AI-powered training solutions for our global sales team. You’ll be at the forefront of developing content that not only boosts sales performance but also empowers our sales professionals to reach their full potential through intelligent, data-driven enablement strategies.
As a key member of our growing Revenue Enablement team, you’ll play a crucial role in setting new standards for learning and development across HashiCorp’s sales organization. We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of sales enablement or SaaS sales, who has a proven track record of designing training solutions that inspire and motivate sales teams to achieve their goals. Responsibilities:
AI-Enhanced Learning Solutions: Leverage generative AI tools and machine learning insights to personalize learning paths, automate content creation, and optimize training delivery for maximum impact.
• Sales Playbook Development: Design and maintain comprehensive, scalable sales playbooks that align with go-to-market strategies, incorporating best practices, competitive insights, and AI-driven recommendations.
• Creative Learning Design: Employ diverse learning methodologies, gamification, and adult learning principles to create engaging, effective training programs tailored to a global sales audience.
• Content Creation: Drive the development of cutting-edge learning assets—from e-learning modules and videos to instructor-led sessions—using AI tools to streamline production and enhance interactivity.
• LMS & Tech Stack Management: Oversee the administration of our Learning Management System and integrate AI-powered analytics to track learner engagement and performance.
• Knowledge Management: Implement taxonomy and metadata tagging systems to organize knowledge assets, making it easier for sales teams to access relevant content when they need it.
• Performance Measurement: Define KPIs and use AI-driven analytics to assess training effectiveness, identify skill gaps, and continuously improve enablement strategies.
Required technical and professional expertise
• 4-6 years of experience in instructional design, ideally within revenue enablement at a SaaS company.
• Proven experience developing sales playbooks and enablement content that drives measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency with e-learning and content creation tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite), and familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Synthesia, or Descript.
• Experience managing LMS platforms such as Highspot, Seismic, or similar, with a strong organizational mindset.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.
• A proactive, cross-functional collaborator who anticipates challenges and delivers high-impact enablement solutions.
• A self-motivated learner who quickly adapts to new technologies and thrives in a fast-evolving tech stack
• A BA or BS degree is preferred. Bonus points for skills in video production, graphic design, or AI prompt engineering.
