As a Color, Materials, and Finish (CMF) Technical Program Manager within MR Product Engineering, you will drive the end-to-end CMF development and delivery across multidisciplinary programs throughout the product development lifecycle.You will establish requirements with internal and external customers, manage program schedules, identify risks, mitigation plans, and clearly communicate them to program stakeholders. Required Skills:
Technical Program Manager, Color Material Finish (CMF) Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the Industrial Design, Color Material Finish, Product Design Engineering teams to enable the definition and execution of next generation hardware products, New Technology Introductions and Special Edition products
2. Advocate for the Industrial Design (ID), Color Material and Finish (CMF) vision by partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the ID CMF point of view is authentically represented and meaningfully integrated into the product development process
3. Coordinate and drive Industrial design deliverables including specifications, DOE and validation plans across multiple concurrent projects
4. Work with cross-functional teams (Industrial Design, CMF, SME’s, System PD, Reliability, Operations) and other cross-functional teams to develop best practices and technology development processes in a fast-paced environment
5. Manage delivery of ID CMF Configurations for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines
6. Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on program requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs
7. Manage program structure to optimize clarity and efficiency for program teams, leadership, and external customers
8. Communicate program statuses, identifying potential setbacks, including vendor tooling schedules and CMF design sprints
9. Manage communication within and between internal cross functional
10. Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review
11. Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success
12. Up to 20% travel internationally

13. BS in Mechanical Engineering field or equivalent experience
14. 7+ years experience working as a technology development program manager or engineering or design leadership role in consumer electronics
15. Experience in ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models
16. Knowledge of phase gate approach to technology development programs
17. Experience with mechanical system development, design for manufacturing, tooling, validation and characterization processes
18. Adept at communicating, planning, with high level of attention to detail
19. Knowledge of program top issue tracking
20. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and programs
21. Maintains composure in times of ambiguity and direction changes

22. 10+ years of experience working in a mechanical engineering or industrial design field
23. Experience in 1P and/or 2P product development, defining requirements and program constraints, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders
Public Compensation:
$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
