    This pivotal role will be instrumental in securing high-value project orders by nurturing and expanding our relationships with key EPC clients in the Midwest region (Kansas City focus). Candidate will manage existing accounts band also identify and capture new opportunities, ensuring our Isolation Valves (TOV, C-Ball, Knife Gate, Butterfly, and Ball Valves) are the preferred choice for major CAPEX projects.

    In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

    + **Influence & Position:** Proactively engage with EPC companies to influence project specifications, ensuring Emerson Isolation products are designated as the preferred solution.

    + **Forge Key Relationships:** Cultivate robust relationships with EPC firms, contractors, and end-users through strategic visits and impactful sales engagements.

    + **Lead Strategic Pursuits:** Develop, implement, and share winning pursuit strategies to secure competitive project orders.

    + **Collaborate Cross-Functionally:** Seamlessly work with internal teams, including factory support, business development, marketing, and application specialists, to secure resources and meet all EPC requirements.

    + **Forecast & Strategize:** Partner with Sales operations to create accurate rolling 12-month forecasts and collaborate with Business Unit management to develop precise pricing strategies for large-scale quotation packages.

    + **Be a Customer Advocate:** Serve as the primary advocate for our EPC clients, ensuring their needs are met and support is garnered from across the organization.

    + **Own the Project Pipeline:** Take full ownership of the Project Opportunity Register (POR) for your assigned EPC accounts, actively managing and advancing opportunities.

You adjust your communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You have a track record of exceeding goals successfully.

    For This Role, You Will Need:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other relevant technical degree

    + 3 or more years calling on EPCs

    + Must be very strong in pursuit-strategy development

    + Strong presentation preparation and delivery skills

    + Ability to gather intelligence about project status, pricing and preference information

    + Collaboration and interpersonal skills are critical for this position due to the various interfaces internal and external to the organization

    + Ability to influence those in other Isolation Valves Teams (not in NAM Sales) to provide necessary services and information to meet customer expectations

    + Requires 50%+ of time in front of customers

    + Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this

    • **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**

    + 3 or more years of experience working with automation and valves

    + Knowledge of the ISV product portfolio to apply “best fit” strategy to be most commercially attractive.

    + Proven history of ability to develop lasting relationships with EPC customers and become trusted advisor for EPC clients.

     

    Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary/pay range for this role is $111,400 - $206,800, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
