Position Overview:
The Operational Specialist will play a key role in supporting Commercial and Private Banking client and account onboarding. This non-client facing position provides high-quality operational, administrative, analytical, and service support to front-line personnel and the Bank’s clients. A strong control mindset is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support BSA/AML operational and control responsibilities from an enterprise perspective.
+ Support and enhance maintenance and validation services related to initiating new clients and opening new accounts.
+ Manage the environment for clients with split interest account situations.
+ Analyze client documentation to validate adequacy of information.
+ Develop and maintain procedures related to client and account opening and servicing.
+ Support specialized account situations (e.g., blocked, escrow, bankruptcy).
Qualifications:
+ Strong control and governance mindset.
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and collaborative skills.
+ Strong customer service mindset.
+ Experience in standardization, centralization, automation, and process improvement.
+ Proactive and willing to drive change and new initiatives.
+ Previous management or team lead experience is a plus, but not required.
+ 5–7 years of experience servicing clients and deposit accounts in a commercial bank.

This role has an expected salary range of_ **_$70,000.00 - $85,000.00_** _for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to_ _participate_ _in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus_ _component_ _.
