AGRILAND FS is looking for a Business Manager to lead and coordinate key operational functions across departments, driving performance, profitability, and long-term success. This critical role partners with Directors and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Strategic Business Planning:
+ Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term business strategies that support the cooperative's mission and growth objectives
+ Conduct SWOT analyses to evaluate factors impacting business performance.
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives to align sales, customer service, and operational strategies with cooperative goals.
+ Liaise with government agencies and legal teams, managing relevant programs and compliance.
Budget Development and Oversight:
+ Prepare and manage annual departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with the cooperative's strategic and financial objectives.
+ Work closely with Finance to support audits and profitability analysis.
+ Work with department heads to forecast resource needs and allocate funds effectively to support operational goals.
+ Support price model development and Implement cost-saving initiatives to maximize profit margins without compromising quality or service.
Sales Commissions Management:
+ Develop and administer competitive sales commission structures to motivate the sales team and align with cooperative objectives.
+ Ensure transparency and fairness in commission calculations, providing clear communication to the sales team.
+ Manage and report on the Annual Sales Program, including goal tracking and progress updates.
Customer Service Team Leadership:
+ Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing customer service team to ensure exceptional customer experience.
+ Establish and monitor customer service KPIs, such as response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
+ Implement strategies to address customer feedback, resolve escalations promptly, and maintain strong relationships with cooperative members.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, empathy, and continuous improvement within the customer service team.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
+ Utilize financial and operational data to track KPIs, such as sales growth, profit margins, and customer retention rates.
+ Generate actionable insights from data analysis to inform strategic decisions and process improvements.
+ Leverage CRM and financial software to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making accuracy.
What we need from you:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
+ Proven experience in retail or business management, with a track record of delivering results
+ Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
+ Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, compensation structures, and sales performance
+ Advanced financial acumen with the ability to analyze margins, pricing, and profitability
+ Ability to lead across departments and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems such as CRM and ERP platforms
+ Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
