Position primary responsibility is to assist Cardiology physicians and patients with the structural heart program. Candidate will work with patients from the time the procedure is scheduled through procedure completion at the hospital, including any follow-up and/or testing that may be needed. Candidate will assist with educating patients and family members regarding what to expect pre and post procedure. Registry data will be tracked to ensure it is completed and in compliance with standards. Candidate will work closely with the structural heart team to ensure all aspects of care are coordinated.

May require face-to-face interaction with patients while they are in the hospital.

In addition to structural heart assignments, the role will assist with other services in the practice that require clinical assistance - this includes telephone triage, rooming patients, responding to EHR messages, and other tasks assigned by manager and /or providers.

Qualifications: Candidates must be licensed LPN or RN in the state of SC. Experience in duties listed above, and proven track record of working well with coworkers and patients, handling stressful situations appropriately, and compassion. The preferred candidate will have experience with telephone nursing.
