    Coordinates activities of general machinery and facilities maintenance as directed by supervisors. Responsible for repairing and maintenance of mechanical equipment and facilities upgrades.

     

    + Conduct routine inspections and scheduled preventative maintenance on plant equipment including lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and parts replacement to prevent breakdowns and maximize equipment lifespan.

    + Diagnose and repair malfunctions on various machinery including motors, conveyors, pumps, air compressors, pneumatic systems, and electrical hand tools.

    + Perform facilities maintenance as required throughout a multi building.

    + Create and maintain an inventory of spare parts, place orders for necessary replacements, and manage stock levels.

    + Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures, fall protection procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.

    + Basic troubleshooting of lasers and brake presses limited to pneumatics and hydraulics.

    + Assist with installation, modification, and upgrades of plant equipment as needed.

    + As the production demand warrants, work in other adjacent areas such as the seal dept to install various lock assemblies.
