Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Application Portfolio Management Senior Navigator is a subject matter expert on the enterprise application intake process. The role works with leaders to ensure each application request meets governance direction and complies with multiple department requirements. In addition, the role identifies and articulates needs to be submitted to the project portfolio for enhancements. This role requires strong communication skills and a high level of situational confidence. The role must display executive presence, confidence, and critical thinking for application portfolio management transformation. The role develops a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders including business leadership, ITG leaders, and other department professionals.
Duties Include:
+ Responsible for participating and advising on the process workflow for the enterprise.
+ Responsible for working with the process engineer on all activities necessary to support the New Application workflow for the Enterprise.
+ Responsible for process adoption, training, and education
+ Assists with, completes and maintains process maps by streamlining workflows
+ Completes requirements and ensures technology supports process flow optimally
+ Leverages lean six sigma and industry best practices when developing ideal processes
+ Consults with Departments and Divisions on specific needs to offer proposed solutions, and implements appropriately
+ Supports User Review Groups
+ Ensures success with the bi-annual tool upgrades
+ Leads the technology decision and roadmap for New Application Requests
+ Maintains interim state and future state workflows throughout process evolution by running the process.
+ Responsible for evaluating all incoming requests, ensuring triage is completed, and hosting/leading technical assessment meetings
+ Responsible for making sure submitter is on track in the TPA intake process
+ Helps gather any needed data from service central (Automation Pending)
+ Responsible for communication during the intake process (Automation pending)
+ As a subject matter expert in the intake process will make sure all requirements are met during each phase of the intake
+ Help clear any roadblocks
+ Guide the requestor to the next step
+ Develop education to train new requestors through knowledge articles and HealthStream presentations.
+ Gathers and submits requirements to the data analytics team for development of reports and dashboards.
+ Ensures KPIs/SLAs are implemented and measured.
+ Holds Enterprise accountable for following defined processes to ensure effectiveness and compliance, and escalates when variances are identified
+ Supports audit-related inquiries
+ Complete Executive Enterprise status reporting
+ Establish and maintain a governance framework for application portfolio management, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
+ Establishes and maintains strong relationships with ITG leadership, Capability Owners, Business Owners, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Information Protection, Finance & Administration, and vendors to mature the application portfolio management content.
+ Communicates with end users and other stakeholders through multiple channels
+ All other duties as assigned
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong knowledge of the IT service management industry
+ Strong knowledge of Information Protection Cyber Risk Management
+ Provides organizational, communication, business analysis, project management, and problem solving skills
+ Champions Lean Six Sigma and iProcess best practices.
+ Continually seeks to improve technical, consulting, and professional skills by attending classes and keeping up-to-date on industry standards.
+ Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction
+ Ability to lead cross-functional teams and facilitate decision-making processes.
+ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels of the enterprise in a succinct, cooperative and effective manner, in a variety of media and formats
+ Demonstrates conflict management and negotiation skills to consistently achieve “win-win” results

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
+ 5+ years
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
+ Strong knowledge of Service Now; Application Portfolio Management, preferred
+ Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts
+ Strong knowledge of project management methodology and deliverables
+ Strong knowledge of use case analysis and workflow design
+ ITIL Certifications, preferred
+ Experience with budgeting and planning
+ Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
