    The Methodist Transplant Institute, based at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a board-certified transplant surgeon with expertise in liver and kidney transplantation.     Transplant Program Highlights:

    Candidate Qualifications:

    + Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, completion of an ASTS-accredited abdominal transplant fellowship

    + Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license

    + Experienced physicians and new graduates will be considered

    + The ability to independently perform deceased donor liver and kidney transplantation is required

    + Proficient in liver transplantation and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy’s

    + Desire to work in a consensus model of very experienced group of hepatologists, nephrologists, and transplant surgeons with low resident participation
