    EJ has an immediate opening for Maintenance Utility on 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) starting rate $22.40 with a potential of up to $27.74 an hour.

    SUMMARY

    Support the Maintenance Planner and perform Maintenance utility tasks.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    + Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement regarding a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.

    + Promotes the company culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company.

    + Empty dust from dust collectors 6100 and 6900 and process bags.

    + Oil storage housekeeping, waste liquid pickup assistance.

    + Cleaning, degreasing, draining oil from Machine parts for repair and scrap.

    + Maintenance shop cleaning, storage, staging, Organizing.

    + Part assembly /disassembly work, preparation of parts.

    + Work with a personal computer, M3 Parts information look up, write up and return.

    + Fork truck driving inside and outside.

    + Support contractor needs on site as needed.

    + Support hardware stocks and counts for reorder.

    + Water tote labeling, replacement for various water collection areas.

    + Ability to work with other employees, communication clear and effective.

    + Willingness to work overtime outside the Maintenance normal schedule.

    + Wear a radio and communicate effectively with the radio.

    + License to operate man lift, scissor lift, hoist, fork truck, bob cat, company truck. Able to work at heights.

    + Operate the company truck to inspect and or retrieve parts from buildings off site. Current drivers license is required.

    + Able to wear a respirator and enter silica designated areas.

    + Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools for parts disassembly, assembly, and parts uncrating.

    + Must have good reading, writing, and math skills.

    + The ability to identify multiple parts, electric motors, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves etc. through identification numbers and visual configuration of components.

    + Ability to use ladders and stairs.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

     

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
