Job Description

A company is looking for an Engineering Technician to join their team.

- Responsible for providing support to engineers on technical projects and/or products

- Assist in scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work

- Assist in work packages, construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope of work schedule.

- Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data.

- Collect necessary documentation and supplementary data (notes, photos, measurements, etc.)

- They will need to be comfortable talking to the clients customers about lighting designs

Skills and Requirements

- Associates or Technical Degree in any engineering field

- 0-2 years of prior relevant experience: working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering

- Interest in developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards

- Self-driven for time management - Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

- Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools

- Work Management Systems (WMS) SAP B1 and/or SAGE Experience null
