Job Description

Were looking for a hands-on Controls Engineer who can hit the ground running someone who understands how to troubleshoot logic, interpret PLC code, and support a machining-heavy production floor. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational PLC experience who are eager to grow with a Fortune 100 company.

Troubleshooting & Support (50%)

Respond to carry-over issues from previous shifts or help with maintenance breakdowns

Diagnose equipment downtime and assist with recovery

Plug into PLCs, read logic, and identify root causes

Collaborate with operators and maintenance to restore functionality

Project Work (50%)

Support corrective action plans and process improvements

Participate in meetings and offline programming tasks

Design drawings and contribute to automation upgrades

Work both on the floor and at your desk depending on project phase

Skills and Requirements

- HS diploma or bachelors degree

- 2+ years of experience with industrial control systems

- Proficient interpreting PLCs and HMI programming

- Experience coming from a manufacturing/production plant or a machine building company (experience writing programs for machines, etc.) - General knowledge of how to troubleshoot robotics (highly preferred) null
