Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Government Property Management Specialist in support of one of are large federal clients in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for the tracking and recording government property associated/delivered to each government contract for this client. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:
Ensured compliance with FAR/DFARS and contract terms for acquisition, control, and disposition of government property.
Acted as primary liaison for DCMA audits and all government property matters.
Oversaw property tracking, movement, and inventory across facilities, ensuring accurate documentation and accountability.
Trained and mentored Property Custodians on compliance procedures and best practices.
Conducted audits, assessments, and investigations to maintain data integrity and minimize property loss.
Developed and enforced internal policies and tools to align with government and contractual requirements.
Managed contract closeout activities, including final property disposition and reporting.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Management or related field
10-15 years of experience in managing government property and material flow across warehouses and agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficient logistics, and interdepartmental coordination.
Knowledge in FAR/DFARs and applicable property regulations, Federal Databases (Fedlog, PUBFLIS, WEBFLIS, PCARSS), DRMO/Plant Clearance processes, Forms DD1149, DD1348, DD1662, DOD Instructions re: SOM, GOM, and IUID.
Active DoD Security Clearance
Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) or Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) null
