Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Supervisor (2:30 PM 11:00 PM EST) to support one of our third-party logistics clients at a service parts distribution site for a major automotive company.

In this hands-on leadership role, youll be responsible for guiding a team to meet daily goals in productivity, quality, and safetywhile ensuring smooth and timely operations. Youll work closely with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure goods are safely moved to the docks and loaded for shipment. Each day, the site manages eight dedicated runs across three shifts, and youll play a key role in coordinating those efforts.

Youll also be involved in recruiting, training, and developing team members, while fostering a positive and motivated work environment. This includes setting clear goals, maintaining open communication, and addressing performance issues when necessary to keep the team aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coach warehouse staff to meet operational targets

Oversee daily shipping and loading processes

Communicate with drivers and complete shipping documentation

Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members

Promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment

Monitor team performance and provide feedback or corrective action as needed

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies

Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to meet distribution goals

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

23 years of supervisory experience in warehousing or 3PL

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Basic computer proficiency

Hands-on experience with forklifts, packing, and measuring Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

Progressive leadership experience

Familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, and warehouse software

Knowledge of metals handling, staging, and shipping null
