    *This is a part-time role with a level of effort of around 8 hours per week.

    About the Role:

    As a Logistics Subject Matter Expert supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide logistics and inventory management expertise to support FEMA warehouse operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory tracking, and disaster response support.

    Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    + Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations

    + Conduct and update regular inventory management systems with stock levels

    + Determine and manage excess inventory using GSA procedures

    + Coordinate receiving and shipping operations including inspection and documentation

    + Perform and facilitate routine equipment maintenance and repairs

    + Maintain and manage tents, radios, and vehicles used in disaster response

    + Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and administration including daily logs and reports

    + Manage clothing inventory and distribution

    + Assist in developing and reviewing Task Force load plans and HAZDEC compliance

    + Support FEMA warehouse operations during disaster response and recovery

    Location:

    You will work onsite in Sterling, VA. You will work approximately 8 hours per week.

    Required Experience/Skills:

    + Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field

    + 8+ years of professional experience

    + Inventory management systems

    + Warehouse operations

    + Equipment maintenance

    + Federal property management

    + Forklift and warehouse equipment operation

    + Strong organizational and communication skills

    + Ability to work in a dynamic, disaster-response environment

    + Experience with FEMA or emergency response logistics

    + US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability

    Preferred Experience/Skills:

    + Experience with GSA procedures

    + Knowledge of HAZDEC compliance

    + Familiarity with DHS/FEMA logistics systems

    Compensation:

    Approximate Hourly Rate Estimate: $65-75/hr
