Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Lead QA/QC Engineer to support the Research Software Engineering (RSE) Core at one of our top clients. This role will lead quality assurance and quality control efforts for a team that builds and supports research software used by scientists, clinicians, and administrators across the School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead QA/QC strategy and execution for research software projects
Design and implement automated and manual testing frameworks
Collaborate with developers, researchers, and IT staff to define test plans and acceptance criteria
Ensure compliance with healthcare and research data standards
Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues
Mentor junior QA engineers and offshore team members
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

Skills and Requirements
2+ years of experience in software QA/QC, with at least 2 years in a lead role
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage offshore QA efforts Experience in scientific research environments
Background in healthcare or clinical research
Experience testing non-text based AI models (e.g., image, audio, or signal processing models) null
