    •️ Job Summary

     

    As a **General Operator – Corn Sorter** , you’ll support seasonal operations including corn sorting, seed packaging, inventory, and warehouse tasks. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.

     

    • Seasonal Duties

    September–October:

    + Manually sort corn for rogue ears, husks, and debris

    + Discard waste and rework usable corn

    + Maintain cleanliness of sorting area

    November–March:

    + Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed

    + Enter inventory data into computer systems

    + Operate forklifts and assist with warehouse logistics

    April–August:

    + Retag and rebag returned seed

    + Inspect and wash seed containers (pro boxes)

    + Support box wash operations and audits

    • Qualifications

    + Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs

    + Work indoors/outdoors on uneven surfaces

    + Pass background check and pre-employment screenings

    + Reliable transportation to site

    + Strong attendance and teamwork

    + Ability to follow safety protocols and communicate clearly

    • Dress Code & PPE

    + **Required:** Steel-toe boots, long pants, sleeved shirt

    + **Provided:** Hard hat, gloves, safety vest, safety eyewear

    • Site Policies

    + No cell phones in work areas

    + Food/drink restricted to break areas

    + Must follow seatbelt and electronic device policies
