Farm Technicians Needed - Full-Time and Part-Time, Temporary to Permanent Positions (20-50 hrs/per week)

Taneytown, MD - $20.00-$22.00/per hour. Dayshift.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Ensure adherence to the company's bio-security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

+ Facility maintenance, clean and disinfect all facilities per SOPs

+ Inspect all mechanical systems to be working properly including: feed, water, sewer, filtration systems, heat and air with support as needed

+ Flock husbandry including blood sampling and environmental swabbing

+ Assist with depopulation, manure removal, and the cleaning and re-assembling of equipment

+ Order and schedule deliveries of materials to meet project timelines and assist with feed delivery logistics

+ Monitor and help with automated egg collection and grading

Qualifications:

+ Ability to lift 50lbs and pass necessary physical tests.

+ Handyman maintenance, HVAC and auto repair knowledge is a plus.

+ Able to work independently and be self-sufficient

+ Physically able to pass Pulmonary Function Test, Respirator Fit Test and Physical Pre-Placement Test.
